ARCHITECT: THE WORK OF THE PRITZKER PRIZE LAUREATES IN THEIR OWN WORDS, 1st & 2nd editions

this compendium of Pritzker Prize architects offers great insight into each of their particular approaches.  This is achieved through shaping their own words with key projects. Grace Ong Yan is the co-editor with Ruth Peltason of ARCHITECT: The Pritkzer Prize Laureates In Their Own Words, Published by Blackdog and Levanthal. The second edition published in 2017 and the first Edition in 2010.

The book is a well-crafted, edited collection of each architect’s own words–carefully collected from interviews, lectures, and writings. The first edition contains the Pritkzer Prize Laureates from the first recipient in 1979, Philip Johnson, to the 2011 recipient, SANAA. The second edition updates the first edition with the 2012 through 2017 laureates.
